We look forward to welcoming you to Sky Magic Driffield & Scampston Hall – Drive-in Firework Displays 2020.
In order to prevent the spread of Coronavirus and to ensure everyone is safe we have designed the event and put special rules in place to ensure that Government advice for outdoor events is adhered to.
Everyone is responsible for maintaining social distancing with good hygiene practices at this event, please be respectful of others and be patient – everyone has to take more care.
STEPS TO FOLLOW AT THE EVENT FOR COVID-19 SAFETY
1) ANYONE WHO HAS ANY SYMPTOMS WHATSOEVER, STAY AT HOME
2) NO TOUCHING OF THE FACE
3) MAINTAIN GOOD HAND HYGEINE WITH REGULAR HAND WASHING OR SANITISING
4) AVOID TOUCHING SURFACES WHICH OTHERS HAVE TOUCHED AS WELL
5) MAINTAIN A 2M SAFETY DISTANCE FROM OTHERS
BEFORE THE EVENT
This is a pre purchase Ticket event only, there will be NO TICKETS FOR SALE ON THE GATE. You must purchase your ticket online on our website and print your tickets for checking on arrival. This is a DRIVE IN event as part of Government advice – Drive In events are permissible maintaining social distancing.
ARRIVAL AT THE EVENT
Please follow the signs and Marshall instructions on arrival. They will direct you to your 5m Parking Bay where you will remain parked for the duration of the event. You must park your car on the right of the parking bay which will leave space for you and your occupants to stand or sit outside your vehicle on the left hand side of the car, if desired. Please turn off your engine and remain parked until directed to leave at the end of the event.
Hampers and Sweet Boxes will be distributed on arrival at the event please have your tickets ready for scanning. You MUST have your tickets printed for checking on arrival. There will be two lanes of traffic to enable checking and food collection to be as quick as possible.
You will be given a Bin Bag for collection of your rubbish on the evening. As you leave the event, you will pass a number of skips where a marshall will place the bag in a skip so you don’t need to exit your vehicles
DURING THE EVENT
There will be walkways between cars for access to food vendors, medical assistance or toilets. Please maintain 2m from others at all times while moving around the site. Please keep movements to a minimum. Always keep walkways clear. Please move around in large groups, if collecting food please keep the number of people moving to a minimum. Please use the hand sanitiser stations located around the site at toilets and food vendors.
Please tune your radio to Great Driffield Radio/Great Yorkshire Radio for live entertainment, competitions and giveaways.
LEAVING THE EVENT
PLEASE BE PATIENT!
Vehicles will be directed to begin leaving row by row. Please do not rush to leave as this will create more delays, please follow the instructions which will be broadcast via Great Driffield Radio/Great Yorkshire Radio prior to the start of the display. The instructions for leaving will be reiterated via radio at the end of the event. We will be as quick as possible helping you to vacate the site.
Follow the Marshall Instructions to the exits from the event. Please maintain social distancing at all times while leaving the event.
Please stop at the rubbish skips and deposit your rubbish bag in the skip on leaving the site.
GENERAL INFORMATION
Please tune your radio for safety messages and instructions. Follow Covid-19 directions.
If you would like to wear a face covering please do so, especially while visiting toilets and food outlets.
Please use the hand sanitiser stations on site.
Please bring your own sanitiser for use and to prevent moving around the site to visit stations unnecessarily.
IF YOU FEEL UNWELL AT ANY TIME, PLEASE VISIT OUR MEDICAL STATION LOCATED AT THE REAR OF THE PARKED DRIVE IN.
